Dispute and reporting policy
How reports and disputes are handled, and what Auxtion can and cannot do.
Reporting content
Any member can report a listing, a user or a message. Reports are private and are reviewed by marketplace moderators.
Moderators may review the reported record and, where a report or dispute justifies it, related messages. Decisions and notes are recorded in the audit log.
Recording a dispute
Either party can record a dispute on an order, with a reason and details. Both parties can see the dispute status on the order.
Moderators record the outcome and any agreed resolution. A recorded resolution is a record of what the parties agreed — it is not a payment reversal.
What Auxtion cannot do
Auxtion cannot refund, reverse, freeze or recover money transferred directly between members, and cannot compel a member to deliver or return an item.
Auxtion can remove listings, restrict bidding or selling privileges, and suspend accounts where policy breaches or suspected fraud are identified.
Fraud
Report suspected fraud immediately. Keep records of messages, payment confirmations and any tracking information.
Where a crime may have been committed, report it to your local police and to your payment provider.
This policy describes how Auxtion actually operates. Auxtion connects buyers and sellers directly and does not process, hold, refund or guarantee payments.
