Terms of use

The agreement between you and Auxtion when you use the marketplace.

What Auxtion is

Auxtion is a marketplace that allows members to list, auction and sell physical items to other members. Auxtion provides the listing, bidding, order-recording and messaging tools only.

Auxtion is not a party to any sale. The contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller. Auxtion does not take title to items, does not hold stock and does not act as an agent for either party.

Your account

You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure and be at least 18 years old to buy or sell.

You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts may be suspended where these terms, the prohibited items policy or applicable law are breached.

Listings and conduct

Sellers must describe items accurately, state the true condition and hold the legal right to sell the item.

Prohibited items may not be listed. Manipulating bids, shill bidding, misrepresenting an item or attempting to move a transaction off-platform to avoid detection is not permitted.

Auxtion may remove a listing, suspend bidding or selling privileges, or suspend an account where a policy breach is identified. Moderation decisions are recorded.

No guarantee of payment, condition or delivery

Auxtion does not guarantee that a buyer will pay, that a seller will deliver, that an item is authentic, or that it matches its description.

Auxtion does not process, hold, transfer, refund or guarantee payments. Any payment protection depends entirely on the method the buyer and seller choose to use.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Auxtion is not liable for losses arising from transactions between members, from items bought or sold, or from a member's failure to complete an agreement.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.

This policy describes how Auxtion actually operates. Auxtion connects buyers and sellers directly and does not process, hold, refund or guarantee payments.
